Construction Management Plan
Many authorities require a construction management plan (CMP) to help illustrate and understand the potential impact your site may have on the community and public. A Construction Management Plan (CMP) assists to manage the disruption to the local community caused by certain construction activities. It is a document prepared by or on behalf of the builder/contractor.
We can assist understanding your Development Approval Conditions and Restrictions. Understanding these conditions allows us to better prepare your CMP.
Our Construction Management Plans are prepared in-house by our certified builders.
Authorities will likely consider at a minimum:
- public safety, amenity and site security
- construction hours
- noise control
- air and dust management
- stormwater and sediment control
- waste management
- traffic management
When we design your CMP it will cover all aspects in your DA, look at openings where your DA can actually assist your construction.
We are meticulous with our reports, we conduct a site visit to thoroughly understand the location of your project and the surrounding community.
Potential problems arise when construction commences without an approved CMP. Under the provisions of the Planning Act 2016 (Planning Act) a breach of development approval conditions can result in authorities issuing an on-the-spot infringement notice, a stop work notice, a warning penalty infringement notice or immediately commence legal proceedings via the Queensland Planning and Environment Court.
